Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 65 W 106 St emphasize cleanliness, garbage management, and responsive owner. The building's prime location near Central Park and subways is a standout feature. However, unresolved cockroach issues and slow management responses are recurring concerns. Neighbors are described as friendly, but noise levels and narrow apartments are drawbacks. Some tenants suggest better pest control measures and quicker response times. Overall, the building offers attractive amenities like an operational elevator and laundry facilities. Consideration of improving communication and resolving pest issues would enhance the overall resident experience.

Not the best management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The common areas of the building are kept very clean. The super is great and very responsive. The elevator is a huge plus.
Cons:
Management is not very responsive. Out unit has had a roach issue for over 2 years and the treatments are not fixing the issue. We’ve communicated this and explained this is bigger issue since multiple units are affected. However, management keeps doing treatments that don’t resolve the issue. When management asks to come to our unit, they often give less than 24 hours which makes it difficult to coordinate our work schedule.
Advice to owner:
Need more notice to inspections and coordinate a building wide treatment for roaches issue
