okay starter apartment

Pros:
Nice neighbors, good amenities for the price, central location.
Cons:
Very not clean, mice in our apartment and roaches. Management is also unresponsive which is very frustrating.
Advice to owner:
Please listen to your tenants!!

We made it work… but it kinda sucked

Pros:
Interior apartments are incredibly quiet for a NYC apartment. Lived here with a dog who barks occasionally and never had a noise complaint. Chris the superintendent does not live in the building, but he is a good guy who is responsive to requests. Can’t say the same for building management. They suck.
Cons:
There are rats in the walls. Windows did not latch, and front door to building didn’t lock for months. Felt unsafe at times. Landlord seems super sketchy and rarely responds to emails. When we first moved in we could not run two appliances at once without the power to our apartment shutting off (took a year to get this fixed). Trash and building supplies pile up in the interior area of the building.
Advice to owner:
Need to do a serious extermination of mice and rats.
