Review Summary for 573 Isham Street
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 573 Isham Street in Manhattan reveal a mixed experience for renters. Many appreciate the spacious, clean apartments with good water pressure, quietness, and a helpful superintendent. The building's location near parks, restaurants, and grocery stores is seen as a plus. However, maintenance issues such as faulty intercoms, inconsistent heating, chipping paint, and occasional pest problems are recurring concerns. Some tenants note delays in owner responsiveness and wish for improved communication and upkeep, especially in common areas. Despite these drawbacks, several renters endorse the building, valuing the apartment size, quiet environment, and overall cleanliness.

Better than most buildings in the neighborhood.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, spacious, relatively quiet. Good super
Cons:
The heat was way too loud, but last winter it was solved. Hopefully that won’t happen again

Run down building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighborhood and detail in apartment. Good size for a good price
Cons:
Poorly maintained building. Front door buzzer has not worked for years. Heat is hit or miss. Paint in common hallways is chipping so bad and looks terrible.
Advice to owner:
A little attention to detail could really raise the property value and make someone actually want to live in the building.
