Stuytown is great - very responsive management

Building kept clean, laundry in building and great access to greenspace, safe and quiet if your apt is interior to the building (facing away from 14th and 1st ave)
Cons:
Did occasionally have breakdowns - e.g., pipe burst that took out laundry for 2 months (though did compensate on rent etc)
