Nice Location I’d Recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, courtyard is nice, spacious 1 bedroom
Cons:
Boiler is always being repaired so hot water is often cut off. During the winter the heat goes out occasionally.

Experience living there
Former Tenant
Pros:
The property is very nice once inside the courtyard. And management staff responsible for maintaining and cleaning the property are very active with up keep.
Cons:
The building does have a bit of a noise problem with the surrounding area where people loiter around the front steps and make noise and blast music until hours I got he night.
Advice to owner:
Seek out efficient security enforcement that will regulate rules to those who are not residents in consideration for those that are.

Kicked us out at the height of the pandemic
Former Tenant
Pros:
I lived in an apartment in this building for two years and other than the unbelievably awful landlords, I loved it
Cons:
Landlords were TERRIBLE. It took months of daily pestering for them to fix anything. One of my roommates had a giant hole in her ceiling for ages because an upstairs neighbor did water damage. They taped a tarp over it and left it like that for 3 months. Similar story when our shower leaked and left a hole in the adjoining wall. Then to top it all off when the leaseholder roommate moved out, the landlords wouldn’t let the remaining roommates apply for the apartment even though I had lived there for 2 years and my other roommate for 7 years, we had always been model tenants, and would have passed the standard requirements for renting the apartment under our own names. Instead they insisted we leave, this was in July 2020 at the height of the pandemic. The only reason I can think they would have done this is to jack up the rent on the next people to move in (our apartment was rent controlled). If you moved into 2C after us and are paying more than ~$2200/month, they are illegally overcharging you. They also did nothing about several pest infestations including bed bugs, we had to handle those on our own.
