Management’s lawyers very trigger happy to sue
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doormen very friendly Lots of the old tenants try to uphold a community culture Lobby and gym well kept Good kitchen appliances
Cons:
Witnessed 4 different neighbours just on my floor that were served papers, management likely wanted to up unit prices and targeted those on pre covid and during covid leases. Gas and energy was charged by the building with no measurement or demonstration of usage per unit. Large building invited unsavoury short term renters that were unchecked

A great experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is beautiful, the apartments are stylish, and the staff are friendly. I have never seen a bug! Quick maintenance response.
Cons:
Far walk from subways
Great location, terrible building and awful management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, gym in building, pool and other amenities
Cons:
Paper thin walls, unresponsive management, not willing to do anything about elevators that stop working. Even after you get trapped in there for 20 minutes and go on to report the incident, the answer is “these things tend to happen”. The building makes a cracking sound and management says it’s because it is “settling in”. The AC/heater units are ancient technology so they are clunky and loud. When you complain about weed smell coming in through the walls from your neighbor, they don’t do anything about it either
Advice to owner:
Find better employees

Love living here but they don’t care about tenants
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is nice and well kept. The doormen are truly incredible.
Cons:
Everything in the apartment breaks

The manager thinks he’s gov Cuomo
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff are good
Cons:
The management is taking Covid restrictions way too far. Only building I’ve seen that restricts elevators to 2 occupants. And the elevators already were a long wait. You can regularly wait 20 minutes for one.
Advice to owner:
Chill on the Covid restrictions.

Cons:

Mercedes House, a gem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Loved the gym, repairs are done promptly, lucked out and had amazing neighbors
Cons:
Lots of dogs and therefore dog waste outside of the building, not very kid friendly. There is no playroom and the gym limits the times kids are welcome in the pool etc.
Advice to owner:
Add a playroom!
