United Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The approval process is very easy if you have the right paperwork. They make a move fast if the unit is ready and to see the apartment unit is not an issue. They always have available units.
Cons:
I personally signed a lease for 12 months and didn’t last longer than two months. I lived in apartment LC specifically and this review will be for any tenant occupying that apartment. That specific unit has a bug infestation problem and the hardwood floors rise up out of plumbing issue due to how close the laundry mat is located to the apartment. If you go into that unit and someone uses the washer machine you will hear the water in the walls. The garbage is all kept outside in an organized mess it is not located inside of a bin to prevent infestation. These units here majority of them have some sort of defect during living there I saw other available units and they all had an issue of some kind. I also took notice to how a lot of tenants were leaving during the pandemic.

Parking around this area is difficult do not ignore it otherwise you will be frustrated when coming home late. The only parking available is for owners of these co-ops. Don’t sublease with United Management, their company is very unprofessional. They pose as if they are professionals when in fact they are not.

They are not professional beyond the beginning of the paperwork. The super Freddy he’s very unprofessional and creepy. If you don’t accept him crossing boundaries with you he will not help you. He also will come into your apartment when you’re not home. I’m not sure if he’s done this with other tenants but while I was on the phone with the management they stated they have the right to enter the apartment without the tenants permission.

This all began simply because we needed repairs for the hardwood floors that were rising up like there was water damage from plumbing issues they don’t want to fix. The tenant previously also abandoned the apartment and they claimed since she left they did gut renovations. I promise you they did not.

The super immediately said it’s the air conditioner this was happening in the line of the bedroom and living room there was no way possible even if you threw a bucket of water on the floor. It made no sense we tried reaching out to the management company they asked for an email explaining the issues.

The response we got back is there’s nothing they would due I explained that even the mold in the apartment became an issue my inhaler had to be increased a dosage. They ignored that as well. If these profiles allow you contact one another anyone is free to message me I’ll provide photographs, contacts, emails, and recordings of the conversations with the management to confirm my claims. I wouldn’t recommend this building.

Due to Covid they don’t offer flexible payments, nor any precautions for the building fyi.

It went as far as to having to involve the police.
Advice to owner:
You need to replace your super and fix apartment LC that’s why it’s always available no one ever stays.
