Management Was Terrible

Pros:
Good Location and Good Views
Cons:
They didn’t fix any leaks. The super never answers. Only ever did anything to fix the leaks after we withheld rent.
Advice to owner:
Please do better.

Landlord is awful

Nice large windows with views and location is nice, central heating and air
Cons:
Landlord and or super will never come to fix anything. We have had many leaks resulting in the ceiling falling down in places of the apartment. With the windows being so large wind will leak through the sides making the winter pretty cold in the bedrooms. It’s always unnecessarily dusty, you will clean one day and the next there is dust everywhere again. Water pressure is okay, the kitchen sinks pressure is pretty low. We also found something in the shower head to minimize the pressure.

Cheap but temporary

Pros:
decent sized bedrooms and overall spacious. low rent and decent water pressure and heat. good location with just what you need nearby. central ac is a plus.
Cons:
roaches rats and package theft. management did not respond in a timely manner to any time sensitive issues. handymen fixed problems but always left a mess. decrepit building facade that has scaffolding around it to catch falling debris. pests were blamed on clean tenants even when it was clear that it was a building problem. no security as access to building is feasible through exterior basement entrance that remains open. Super is super unresponsive.
Advice to owner:
fix the building, secure the building, fumigate the building, listen to your tenants and do some upkeep on the unpainted patches and the cracked ceilings.
