Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 43 Brooklyn Avenue reflect a building with modern apartments and appealing amenities like rooftop access, gym, and laundry facilities. Residents praise good water pressure, heating, and generally nice neighbors. However, management is widely criticized for poor responsiveness, maintenance delays, frequent elevator and laundry machine malfunctions, and inadequate pest control. Noise issues, especially from neighbors and nearby train, are common complaints. Trash management and cleanliness vary, with some citing garbage piling up and unpleasant odors. Package theft has led to security improvements, though package room size remains a concern. Overall, while the apartments are desirable, management and building upkeep need significant improvement.

A bug ridden slum run by criminal owners
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighbors are generally nice and suffering under the same landlord.
Cons:
They will not give you back your security deposit. They will threaten you and accuse you of made up infractions until you relent. The building itself is infested with cockroaches and mold. The train runs right next door and is very loud.
Advice to owner:
Stop being such scumbags

Could be better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Roof access Gym access Lounge room Laundry room
Cons:
Gym and lounge been under repair for months. The laundry machines are too small, too pricey, and not the best at washing it drying. Elevator is way too slow
Advice to owner:
Needs better security for packages and storage room. The landlord charges way too much but no improvement in the building.
