Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 400 Clinton Avenue highlight its prime location, spacious units, and quiet, friendly neighbors as key benefits. Tenants appreciate the building's charm and proximity to transit and amenities. However, a pervasive roach infestation is a major concern, with multiple reports indicating inadequate pest control efforts by management. Heating effectiveness varies, with some finding it insufficient despite working consistently. Garbage management and water pressure receive generally positive remarks. Responsiveness from management is mixed, contributing to tenant dissatisfaction. Overall, while the building offers good space and location, pest issues and heating reliability present significant drawbacks that prospective renters should consider.

There will be roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
The buildings units are large and spacious. Heat always worked well. The location is great... close to the G C and a not too terrible walk to Atlantic Barclays.
Cons:
The building's water is VERY hot, which is better than the opposite I suppose. The primary issue is the pests. Our apartment was kept incredibly clean and exterminated, however there were constantly large cockroaches. It was also a daily occurrence to see roaches dead and alive in the lobby. The building is just infested in the structure so there really isn't much to be done by way of complete removal in units. We were on the second floor, so perhaps the higher levels are a bit safer.
