Review Summary for 352 Myrtle Avenue
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 352 Myrtle Avenue reveal mixed experiences. Many tenants praise the responsive management, well-maintained common areas, and quality apartment finishes. The building benefits from considerate neighbors and effective garbage management. However, several renters report issues with outdated heating systems causing uneven temperatures, occasional pest problems, and noise due to thin walls. Some express security concerns, including package theft and problematic access control. Maintenance delays and inconsistent responsiveness from management have also been highlighted, alongside complaints about occasional water interruptions and building upkeep. Overall, while some find it a comfortable home with attentive management, others advise caution due to these persistent challenges.

Solid building, no issues with management
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Responsive property management company
- Bike and trash area were relatively well managed
Cons:
- Heating system is quite old. Heat was not evenly distributed throughout the apartment - some rooms were unbearably hot in the winter while others were too cold.
- Bathroom finishings (flooring, cabinetry, grout) weren't the best quality
- The building wasn't the most secure - had packages stolen several times

I'm in 354 Myrtle Avenue/ Nice apartment, responsive management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Just moved in and I will say that the management company is very responsive. The appliances and finishes are much nicer than a typical rental. Feels like home.
Cons:
Wish there was a keypad at the front door so I didn't have to carry a key with me. The buzzer in my apartment doesn't ring so I don't know when a delivery is here.
Advice to owner:
I'd love an entry keypad. Also the ability to let a delivery person in remotely would be nice.
