Beautiful building but good luck sleeping
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is beautiful, reasonably well kept, and the folks who live in it are generally great.
Cons:
The Woods bar, which is right next door, has an outdoor space that they regularly BLAST music from until 3am on weekday nights. I've lived in NYC for almost 15 years and I've never seen anything like it. The owners of the building REFUSE to do anything about it (maybe they're getting paid off?) and the folks who live and try to sleep in the surrounding buildings have been unable to bring any semblance of accountability to the bar.
This generally happens at least 3 nights a week, so good luck living here if you value your sleep and productivity.
Advice to owner:
Take the noise issue seriously.

Over priced for the amenities and management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice historical building
Cons:
Terrible management who is unresponsive and doesn’t treat their tenants well Apts need to be remodeled a bit nicer for what they charge.
Advice to owner:
Stop scamming your tenants and treating them like you’re doing them a favor by letting them live in your run down building.
