Terrible - roaches, terrible management

Aesthetically, its great - nice light, ceilings
Cons:
So many roaches. They sold the building and the new owners are awful. Any repairs and they do for as cheap as possible, the place is so dirty.

Good apt layouts. Thick walls between apartments. Free heat.
Cons:
Since new owners bought, impossible to communicate, 0 repairs, no cleaning in building, no maintenance. Very loud street.

Granted I lived there a long time ago, but it was my favorite apartment that i ever had in NY. Landlord was mostly civil and polite.
Cons:
There was one issue where the upstairs neighbor’s water leaked down and caused the ceiling to collapse in my bathroom. Maintenance was not speedy and that was annoying. They did a shabby job of patching it up too, but probably because they intended to renovate it and increase the rent/move it out of rent stabilization of and when I left.
Advice to owner:
Make sure maintenance is fast and efficient. Have someone tenants can call if it’s the weekend/a holiday.
