Great building and location, bad management
Former Tenant
Pros:
huge apt, nice fixtures, backyard, great location
Cons:
my apt flooded multiple times, management is quite rude and unresponsive, neighbors can be loud depending who they are- nobody stays for long for some reason.

I enjoyed living here, but management was not always responsive
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments in this building are nice. When we moved in, everything was clean and repainted. Haven't seen any rodents of any sort and they seem to be on top of things. The neighbours were nice and respectful, and there was no noise or disturbance.
Cons:
Our dishwasher was broken when we moved in. Management came in and fixed it quickly. However, when we reported other issues, management was not always responsive. They would reply like 50% of the time which was frustrating. The shared rooftop is not very well kept. All the chairs/table are super old or broken and need to be replaced. The only positive aspect of that is that no one ever used the roof
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to tenants, and cl

It was okay
Former Tenant
Pros:
Its a small building so you get to know everyone pretty well. Management is decently responsive compared to other properties in NYC.
Cons:
Not an accessible building and the stairs are very narrow and short, hallways are almost non-existent so its difficult to get furniture in and out. Rent is out of control but given for the area.

Dont do it !
Former Tenant
Pros:
I mean its a home, large windows were nice and balcony was huge.
Cons:
SO MANY RATS on the block. The neighbors down the block never shut up its alwats car racing and loud music !!! All night.
The building is so poorly insulated in the summer the bill was so high bc it was Always hot the heat would seep in. we had to beg them to add clear caulk which barely helped in the winter it was FREEZING. The washer barely washed your clothes or wasnt working at all. The super was a super creep ! They also refused to fix anything upon moving in. After moving in the company stops answering promptly.
READ YOUR LEASE the lease said we had to allow showings last month okay cool and we were harassed for a whole month and a half before the last month we got threatened with entering the unit without consent. By the Brooklyn group brokers.
Advice to owner:
Do better ! Stop lying online about market value when you were willing to go lower over the phone.

Nice Building with lost potential & shoddy management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice window light, big balcony, good appliances
Cons:
Very tight living quarters, no closet space, washer & dryer do not function well, mail & backyard items often go missing, management is not responsive to tenant complaints, no leniency on rent payment options during pandemic or any other empathetic response to tenants
Advice to owner:
Do not offer tenants amenities that you do not plan to take care of. Be more responsive to tenant complaints, especially when they are repetitive. A little more leniency with common areas would be appreciated, such as a shelf for storing packages, a bike rack for bike storage in the large empty yard, etc.
