Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 618A Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225 highlight mixed experiences. While some appreciate the proximity to Prospect Park and efficient garbage management, concerns arise regarding persistent cold due to inadequate heating and recurring pest issues. The responsive superintendent receives praise for addressing complaints promptly, but unresolved maintenance issues like bedbugs and water damage persist. Inconsistencies in owner responsiveness and building upkeep lead to divided opinions on recommending the building. It’s too cold
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent since I was in a rent stabilized apartment
Cons:
It’s cold in the winter time. I’ve been living here for years and ever since Jeremy management took over we are COLD. The heat comes up for 5 minutes barely enough to really warm the apartment. Don’t bother renting here. My electricity bill ended up being three times the amount in the wintertime since I was forced to buy a space heater. And yes, we called 311. Someone came but no changes in the heat.
Advice to owner:
Turn up the heat

The superintendent is the best. Very kind and super responsive.
Cons:
When I moved in I had bedbug issues and roaches. Both are resolved. Been here for 3years now.
