Could be better
Pros
Updated appliances, 3 full baths, 1 for each bedroom. Overall very clean building. Management is relatively responsive. Good place to share for a short time.
Cons
Location is terrible. The windows should be insulated better. There is A LOT of noise pollution coming from the parkway nearby and the street. The building also doesn't feel well constructed. It shakes often, like small vibrations all the time. There are no closets.
Decent starter apartment
Pros
-good light in the bedrooms -good washer/dryer system -in between two bus stops and two subway stops - not a bad neighborhood, might feel uncomfortable sometimes but never unsafe
Cons
- was not cleaned before move in, even though they said they would clean it. We had to hire professional cleaners to come in and clean everything and pay out of pocket for it. -property management are Hasidic Jews which is fine but something to keep in mind when reaching out to them as they may not answer in a timely manner due to their holidays. -sometimes will not respond in a timely manner if it’s a matter they don’t want to deal with right away I.e. bugs/terminator/issues with in unit appliances - two doors down from a butcher shop so sometimes it smells walking to and from the building - might get cat called by the workers from one of the car repair garages on the street - walls are thin, can hear the upstairs neighbors moving around all the time - windows are not installed properly and can hear noise from the street - might fix an issue by sending someone over to fix it but most of the time the issue never gets fixed properly the first time so you do have to keep on top of them to actually fully fix problem. - sometimes it lowkey feels like they try to gaslight you into thinking there’s nothing wrong with things and kinda make you feel like your bothering them about any issues.
