Review Summary for 285 Tompkins Avenue
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 285 Tompkins Avenue praise its cleanliness, well-maintained common areas, rooftop access, and friendly neighbors. Rent-stabilized units offer affordability with consistent pest control and strong water pressure. However, some tenants report small apartment sizes and subpar lighting. Management responsiveness varies, with several renters noting delayed maintenance and lack of communication, especially in rent-stabilized sections, causing frustration. Noise levels and neighborhood disturbances receive mixed feedback, with some citing a quiet environment while others experience issues. Overall, the building appeals to those seeking friendly community vibes and good amenities, though prospective renters should consider potential management and space drawbacks.
