Do not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building has an elevator, which is great, and many apartments have a small balcony, which is rare for such affordable rent. But there are other big issues
Cons:
The landlord needs to be reminded 3-4 times to do things. Loud and disruptive construction is always happening on this block, it’s really inconvenient and adds time to your morning commute. Panhandlers hang out on this block and it doesn’t always feel safe. Packages get stolen and the door gets left open for hours at a time, unsupervised, while people are moving in.

Not much to complain
Former Tenant
Pros:
Huge space, love my in unit dryer and washer, rooftop is always empty, there’s an elevator, parking lot, walls are relatively noise resistant so privacy is relatively ok (except for in the rooms)
Cons:
Apartment on the 1st floor so roaches are always a problem..

Good building bad location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlord is very responsive and the building is well kept.
Cons:
Substantial rent increase on renewal. Building location isn’t the best, lots of packages stolen and visible drug activity on street outside.

Cockroaches in the walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very convenient to the subway right by Atlantic Avenue Barclays.
Large space
Pets allowed
In unit washer dryer
Cons:
Cockroaches everywhere and victor the landlord never hires a real exterminator so the building infestation is not solved and it’s disgusting.
The apartments are not sound proof at all so you hear everything.
Landlord has harassed some of the female tenants.
Hot water doesn’t last long in the shower.
Overpriced in this area.
Advice to owner:
Fumigate for the cockroaches to

Had many issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment itself was nice and well located
Cons:
Tons of issues with construction for continuous months. Issues with mice and roaches because of construction and Viktor the landlord is super unwilling to do anything. He’s rude and not trustworthy and certainly would never rent from him again
