Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 12 Meserole Street in Brooklyn point out mixed experiences. While the location is praised for its convenience and proximity to transit, some renters had issues withheating, management responsiveness, and unexpected rent hikes. Positive aspects include a spacious unit, great backyard, and helpful owner during lockdown. However, concerns about pest control, noisy neighbors, and previous rodent issues in the building have been raised. Overall, tenants recommend improvements in building maintenance, basement renovations, and better communication from management for a more satisfactory living experience.

great location, not great management
Former Tenant

location, living room
Cons:
heating issues, appliances often break

far from "perfect" management
Former Tenant
Pros:
convieninet location to subway
Cons:
Perfect Management harrassed us to leave the apt ONE month prior to the lease end so that they could "renovate" as theyhiked up the price by 2000$ per month. They were rude & insensitive on multiple occassions
Advice to owner:

12 Meserole - Worth a long term lease!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing Backyard ! Spacious Amazing Owner, super helpful during lockdown New appliances, Washer-Dryer in-unit 1 Block to Harvest Market, J Line
Cons:
Garbage storage is right in-front of the building - not a great spot ! Basement was slightly painful for my room-mates ! Had few leaks thru the winter but all of it was fixed fairly quick
Advice to owner:
12 Meserole was an amazing place to live and I wish Management renovates the basements in the building ! Given an opportunity to lease by floor I’d love to stay again in this place. Bit of renovation would allow new renters to move-in!
