Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 222 Johnson Avenue show a mix of experiences. The building impresses with its modernity, cleanliness, well-maintained amenities, and attentive staff including a responsive super and secure package handling. Residents appreciate the quiet at night, good heating, gym, and rooftop views. However, some criticize the high rent, rooftop access restrictions, and occasional noise or locational drawbacks. A major concern raised is severe pest issues and unresponsiveness by management in some units, affecting livability. Suggestions include better communication from management and revisiting rooftop rules. Overall, it’s a well-kept, desirable building but with a few management and pricing challenges.

Horrible unresponsive management to massive pest issue
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the L
Cons:
Our floor has a massive pest issue that has been going on for over a year. Management has been extremely unresponsive and uncooperative with the entire floor’s joint efforts to resolve the issue. This has been creating unlivable conditions for all units on the floor and the hallway has a very foul smell. We have not been receiving any helpful responses from management for months. Do not move here!!!!
Advice to owner:
Communicate to your tenants what is going on
