The neighbors made it worth it!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building was close to the subway, conveniently located to cafes/laundry/etc. It was a lot of space, which was nice, and the owner was always very nice to deal with. The best part about all of it were the neighbors. It was great to meet such amazing people.
Cons:
The building needed a lot of renovations while I was there and each year there were a lot of promises that were made and never fulfilled. There were several holes in the floors, the kitchen was falling apart, bathroom needed to be redone, floors were uneven. We had a major plumbing issue and difficulty with mice. The owner always tried to fix it, but it was always a temporary fix.
Advice to owner:
Take the time to gut the place completely, including the plumbing.
