Review Summary for 16-75 Palmetto St
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews for 1675 PALMETTO STREET reveal mixed feedback. Tenants appreciate the proximity to train stations, supermarkets, and renovated apartments. However, recurring issues like leaks, pest problems, and unresponsive building management are major concerns. The lack of timely responses from the owner to address maintenance issues has led to dissatisfaction among tenants. Despite the building's positive aspects, such as good water pressure and cleanliness, the unresolved structural problems and noise levels from the trains negatively impact the overall living experience. Improvement in management responsiveness and building maintenance is crucial for tenant satisfaction.

3 floor had constant leaks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nicely renovated apartment. Did not have a pest problem.
Cons:
The building super never responded. Constant leaks from rain in 3 rooms. One bedroom very close to the M train tracks
Advice to owner:
Hire a super that is reachable .

Great location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very close to both M and L trains. A supermarket is a block away. The apartment 3L is beautiful and new.
Cons:
Right next to the train racks. You’ll hear the trains pass by.
Apartment 3L leaks!! Every time it rains there’s a leak in the bathroom and the smallest room. The owner was told numerous times and nothing significant was ever done. The ceiling would come down and they would just paint it back up. And it just looks alright till the next rainstorm. Aggravating. Then when it was time to renew the lease they DARED to tell us the rent is going up if we continue living there and when we mentioned the constant leaks they acted oblivious to the whole thing. “I didn’t know there was an issue”. So the countless emails and you telling us it’ll get fixed doesn’t ring a bell? Very frustrating. Moved out as soon as the lease was over.
Advice to owner:
When there’s a reoccurring issue that the tenants are complaining about it needs to be fixed so it doesn’t happen again. Not make it look like it was fixed and give people false promises.
