Review Summary for 1715 Greene LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight buildings managed by 1715 GREENE LLC suffer from severe management issues. Tenants express frustration with unresponsive landlords, maintenance neglect leading to flooding and sewage backup, and repeated pest control issues. Despite some positives like larger apartments and good water pressure, the overall consensus is negative. Residents advise the landlords to be more proactive in addressing maintenance requests promptly and improving building management practices. Limited responsiveness from the owners and unresolved maintenance issues make these buildings a challenging living environment, leading to a lack of tenant approval and recommendations.

Bad, unresponsive landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Small building. Larger apartments. No issues with heat or hot water.
Cons:
Landlord completely unresponsive. Most appliances fail and are not repaired. Basement floods many times with rain water and SEWAGE backup.
Advice to owner:
Advise to landlord- manage the building. Even just a little.

CW Realty is trash
Former Tenant
Pros:
Central air and exposed brick
Cons:
For the past four or five months my bathroom has been periodically flooding and the only solution that has been taken is to snake the drain line but then my bathroom floods another couple weeks later and they have taken no steps to actually solve this issue.
Advice to owner:
Actually fix people's maintenance requests Don't just do temporary solutions

DO NOT RENT FROM CW REALTY
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large apartment, friendly neighbors, feel safe here, great water pressure and showers get warm
Cons:
They have never responded to any complaints or maintenance requests we put in, even after reporting them to HPD. They did not clean our apartment prior to moving in. We have had water leaking from the ceiling and sewage water flooding our apartment multiple times and they have done nothing to alleviate the problem. Every time we put in a report the super says he has put in an order and it is never resolved.
Advice to owner:
Stop being a landlord - you’re taking advantage of your tenants
