Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews of buildings managed by George Zayas reflect significant challenges in property management, notably with persistent pest infestations, heating issues, and cleanliness. Residents often cite unresponsive and slow management, with many reporting maintenance delays and insufficient security measures. Although some buildings offer good locations and friendly neighbors, consistent complaints about poor garbage management, rampant pests, and broken infrastructure like doors and doorbells are frequent. On a positive note, superintendents in some buildings are praised for their efforts despite limited support from management. Overall, renters should expect a mix of affordable housing options overshadowed by management's struggle to address critical upkeep and tenant concerns.

Warning - Pests

Pros

Really nice location and when things are good there great. The super is a really amazing, hardworking guy and does his best to fix issues but management often stops him.

Cons

Building has a serious roach issue and management is lazy about addressing. The lock for the front door is broken and people are blocking the lock to get in and out which is likely contributing and means anyone can enter the building at any time. There is only a door camera for security. This building is managed by Colliers and they will act like they have NO time for you. Place is overpriced for the serious headaches.
