Overpriced but satisfactory experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive super, good location
Cons:
Old walk up, apartment had mouse problem upon move in
Advice to owner:
Make prices more accessible given the building condition
Over 1 year ago

Cons:

Quiet (Enough) Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice, classic prewar building on the UES. Neighbors were friendly and the building was fairly quiet (although some people had dogs and that made some noise)
Cons:
Heat blasted from October through May and we had to run the AC to offset it.

good building to live in
Former Tenant
Pros:
We never had an issue with pests. The owner is very responsive when there’s an issue
Cons:
The rent skyrocketed
Great place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well maintained, friendly landlord and super, minimal bugs, no rodents
Cons:
Heat can be a bit extreme, as with any radiator building
Advice to owner:
None!

A lovely area and nice landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice & responsive landlord
Great Area
Friendly neighbors
Cons:
Not much, just a typical older prewar building
Advice to owner:

Pretty good
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very responsive management, good price, roof access.
Cons:
Walls are paper thin. I could literally hear my neighbors conversations. This wasn't the end of the world because I had fairly considerate neighbors, but beware.

Floors were so sloped a tennis ball would roll to the other side. Doors were made of plastic, which allows noise to travel.

I'd give this apartment a B overall.
Advice to owner:
Keep it up

Renter Beware, You’ve been Warned
Former Tenant
Pros:
Reasonable rent, nothing much.
Cons:
MICE, MICE, MICE!!!
Plus, the heat works half of the time so bring your own portable heater.
Advice to owner:
Please CLEAN the building. There’s too much mice!! This is unacceptable and unhealthy. Also, it’s time to replace your grumpy super.

wouldn't do it again

Cons:

You get what you pay for
Former Tenant
Pros:

Cons:
Noise, quality of building, messy
It was fine, nothing special
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent location to lots of restaurants and bars
Cons:
The heat never worked
Super did a bad job at fixing things or broke other things while in the apartment
Advice to owner:
Nothing in particular
