Nice renovated units though building is old
Pros
The units are really nice. Mine is spacious, in-unit wash/dry+dishwasher. Very close to Barclays subway stop which has lots of lines running through it.
Cons
The building is on the older side so no amenities, the lobby is dingy and ants find their way into the building. Building management is also sometimes not the most responsive with fixing non-urgent issues
Home Sweet Home - Unless There's an Issue
Pros
Perfect Street - idyllic Boerum Hill nestled between the business of the Barclays Center and the quaintness of Cobble Hill. Right next to a coffee shop! High ceilings Central air in the renovated units W/D in the renovated units
Cons
The walls are made of paper - you can hear everything anyone is doing. I had a noisy neighbor that disturbed my sleep for half the time of my lease. You can't hang up anything. Management - I was accused of not paying rent, people were uncommunicative via email, etc. It was really hard for me to live somewhere where the landlord and management company were hostile to simple requests.
Advice to the owners
Please be understanding and communicative with your tenants.
