Expensive, but generally worth the price

Pros

Apartment is large compared to other one bedrooms in the area. Maintenance is responsive to requests. Walls are thick, cannot hear neighbors. Front desk, porters, maintenance staff is all lovely to interact with. Rent stabilized. No fees for pets. No bugs/pest issues.

Cons

Elevators sometimes take a while to arrive or are broken. Iowa Sports manages the packages and amenities, they are kind of awful. Amenities are nice to have, but they are a super expensive additional charge and the hours available are not long enough. Renting any of the amenity rooms is CRAZY expensive on top of the fee. During the holidays this year we were waiting for several days to get packages that had been delivered, Iowa Sports refused to provide additional staffing. Leasing office makes errors on leases and fails to provide countersigned copies. Apartments are expensive, but are similarly priced to other luxury buildings in the area.

Advice to the owners

Stop subcontracting to Iowa Sports!
