Former Tenant
Pros:
Good management company. Super is quick and responsive. Laundry room in basement. Pets are allowed.

Very old intercom system. Also don't think they clean the washers and dryers. Price is on the higher end compared to other apartments of similar conditions.

Small Apartments, Great Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The unit was recently renovated, so everything worked well for the most part. Management was nice and easy to deal with. Never had any pests in the unit. 2 washers and dryers in basement, which were convenient for some things (but still felt like I needed to do wash and fold, they weren't always available). The location was perfect for me, I really loved this street. The grocery store across the street has unfortunately closed since I left, but everything you need is close by for the most part.
Cons:
We had a couple instances where the fridge/freezer would thaw out that the building sent people to fix in a timely manner but didn't get fully resolved (I don't necessarily blame them, they probably needed to replace it but we were about to move out). The apartments are pretty small, but given the price it makes sense. There were some mice in the basement, but we never saw them anywhere else in the building, and management was working on dealing with it (there was a restaurant next door and also two doors down, which was probably the main issue).

Building management review
Former Tenant
Pros:

Cons:
Not always clean, hallways would smell like smoke
Over 2 years ago
I thought I was moving into my forever apartment and I'm super disappointed
Former Tenant
Pros:
it's in a nice area of manhattan
Cons:
ive had numerous calls packages stolen from the hallway and the camera doesn't work. I've had my toilet overflow and flood the apartment below me as well as my heater didn't work so I turned it on and it flooded the apartment below me as well. after the Covid deal, my rent went up $400 and I was told a month before I had to sign my new lease
Advice to owner:
care more about the people that live in ty our building instead of money
Over 2 years ago

Professional and reasonable
Former Tenant
Pros:
- super is reasonably responsive and helpful every time
- never an issue with management in 2+ years really
- pet-friendly - there are some dogs on the bigger side too
- great location - close to the park, museums, groceries, restaurants, multiple subway lines
- can sometimes hear neighbor through walls although somewhat dampened
- washer and dryer in building and they work 90% of the time or more
Cons:
- walk-up, but par for the course for the neighborhood

Nice and Quaint
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, the attentiveness of the staff in addressing things during first few years of tenancy
Cons:
The way they treated their tenants when mistakes were made by management that didn’t want to just admit their mistakes but rather try to sue to intimidate tenants to leave or give in
Advice to owner:
No advice as I can see over time things have changed and the consequences of their actions resulted in the problems they have now

Tenant Review 2022
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location
Response Super
Friendly neighbors
Cons:
Heat goes out ALOT in winter same with hot water
Landlord refuses a long term fix on the situation
Cameras in the shared space do not work so no help if your package gets stolen, which happens a lot.
Advice to owner:
Fix the boiler.
Add a security camera that actually works.
