Overall a good experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Generally a responsive super, renovated apt upon move-in, organized trash system, buzzer intercom to phone, kind landlord who is quick to attend to major repairs for my unit, office correspondence has improved
Cons:
Mail theft in lobby, which I realize is now a common problem in the city and not isolated to this building, loud neighbors at times, water temp/pressure needs some TLC after many years of working fine.

Good first apartment, but not well kept
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good bones to the building, nice neighbors, spacious unit, good finishes
Cons:
No help with pest control over the years - had mice and roaches by the time we left

In general, a positive experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pros
-love my renovated apt
-super is kind and generally responsive, much better than most NYC supers
-landlord and I have a good relationship
-management is responsive and uses a good app for rent payments
-largely a family-based building, kind tenants overall
-monthly exterminator (I barely have issues)
-landlord was empathic and flexible during initial COVID chaos, yet my rent has still skyrocketed as I continue to search for a long term roommate
Cons:
Cons
-some long-standing, entitled neighbors play music sporadically that is too loud (below me), which is rude and out of touch
-the lobby and entrance area needs some TLC, it makes the building look sketch but it’s not
-the elevator is good but often untidy
-the rent could be lower for the size of my place in relation to other long-term tenants
-no on-site COVID measures taken
Advice to owner:
Please improve the lobby and entrance appearance and elevator cleanliness
