Its Fine, Super Sucks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Its clean & neighbors are nice. My unit was renovated and had laundry and dryer in unit
Cons:
The super is extremely unresponsive and passive aggressive. The price was too high on what you received.
Advice to owner:
Get a new super.

Cold, wet, brick walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Has walls and a ceiling. Neighbors are very nice and keep to themselves.
Cons:
Poorly insulated, radiators get hot but never produce heat. Management has been contacted for over 2 years about this issue and have yet to have it resolved. The maintenance guy just takes the money and runs. He never fixes anything.
There’s a window that has never been fixed in one of the rooms. It took them about a 1.5 years to fix three leaks in my room. Then they painted over the water stains and leak. It was also leaking black mold. The brick walls add to the “aesthetic” but is super drafty and leaks when it rains.
My first year lease, our broiler system caught fire and almost exploded. There was no apology statement/ checking in on the tenants. It caused a group on the second floor to vacate for awhile due to being lightheaded and throwing up from the fumes. Oh and then they went on to increase rent the following year.
I highly recommend self love and not choosing this apartment or working with this company.
Advice to owner:
Learn to love being a landlord or quit your job. Lear to also listen to your tenants complaints. If you’re getting multiple of the same complaints; it clearly wasn’t fixed

Not horrible but not good either
Former Tenant
Pros:
It’s clean and pests aren’t a problem.
Cons:
During the winter months, I had to use a space heater every day and night because the building is freezing. You can hear the heater rumbling in the basement which was annoying. 9/10 times there was no heat coming out of the radiators. Apparently the fire department had them shut the heat off for weeks but this was not communicated to my roommate and I. One of the property managers is very unpleasant to communicate with. There was what I can only assume was a gas leak that required the fire department to come by one night. The following night repairman were in the basement working on the boiler and the noise was so disruptive and loud - 11PM on a weeknight. When I complained to the property manager and simply asked that we be notified when future work like this is taking place she was incredibly dismissive and rude. There was no mention of the gas leak at all. We thought there was mold growing in our bathroom so we requested maintenance.. they simply painted over whatever it was and that was the solution. I requested maintenance another time for a leak coming from the bathroom vents and waited 2 hours for them to tell me that they couldn’t make it. They canceled the request because the leak had stopped and I guess they didn’t care to look into what had caused the leak. I’ve requested additional maintenance but had to cancel for work related reasons and I got attitude for doing so as if they did not cancel on me with no notice.
Advice to owner:
Better and more efficient communication with tenants would probably be appreciated. There’s no need to be short and unprofessional.
