Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by PRINCE STREET ASSOCIATES reveal persistent issues with unclean common areas, poor garbage management, and frequent pest infestations. Many tenants report unresponsive and negligent management, with complaints about slow or inadequate repairs, especially for heating and water problems. The superintendent is frequently described as unhelpful and sometimes aggressive. While locations are praised for convenience and some units offer good space and lighting, the management’s lack of promptness and poor building upkeep greatly undermine tenant satisfaction. Prospective renters should expect ongoing maintenance challenges and a need for improved communication and professionalism from the management team.

Reviews

Former tenant·55 minutes ago

Nice location, new management is good

Pros

Location is very convenient on 2nd ave, sunroof and living areas are large

Cons

No central air so gets very hot or very cold at times, old management was unresponsive

Former tenant·10 minutes ago

It’s small and fine, but not horrible

Pros

Somewhat decent price for location, not super loud, small space but decent for price and location - definitely tour in person before signing a lease

Cons

Public spaces can be dirty, recently got new management but old management was not great, seen about 5-7 roaches in the 1.5 years I’ve lived here, had no heat or hot water for first month I was here (but has been fixed and fine since then) - overall it’s fine and a decent price for the location, which is the best part

Advice to the owners

Take better care of the public spaces in the building, actually put money into the building to upkeep it and maintain it
