Decent apartment to share with your friends.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Superintendent is really responsive, great at resolving issues, and super nice and friendly. He literally made up for a lot of issues with the building.
Cons:
The stove and fridge were tiny and hard to fit groceries for 3 people. Only one washer/dryer in the building which led to a lot of waiting. Packages stolen a handful of times.

Typically greedy slumlord situation
Former Tenant
Pros:
Modernized kitchen, central air
Cons:
Never repaired door to laundry room so never actually had access to it even though it’s a big factor in choosing an apartment. Does not respond to emergency phone calls. Tried to break lease without making the landlord lose rent by filling it by the next month but the landlord still kept the security deposit— so I happily left the apartment damaged and dirty. Large holes behind appliances that seemed to be there for a long time, allowing dozens of rodents inside
Advice to owner:
Respond to your emergency line. Please take better care of your properties and your tenants won’t bother you as much

Really Horrible landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry machines work, most neighbors are nice
Cons:
The management is horrible. Exterminator is supposed to come once a month but rarely shows (there’s roaches). Our fridge broke and they took a week to replace it. People on our floor have been very loud and having parties every week despite covid. Packages stolen often. Bad light in half the apartments
Advice to owner:
Replace appliances. Clean the building

Swindlers! Beware and don’t rent!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near three subway lines.
Cons:
Rats, mice, roaches, neighbors pee on doorstep every night, laundry in disrepair and smells of neighbor’s pee, swindler landlords, management company’s website has reporting disabled, ceiling leaks water, lack of maintenance, stolen mail, I can go on and on.
