Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of Brighton Management buildings reveal a consistent pattern of poor management and unresponsiveness. Renters frequently report prolonged delays in addressing heating failures, pest infestations, leaks, and maintenance requests. Many mention inaccessibility and poor communication from management, with complaints of condescending or dismissive attitudes towards tenants. Garbage management and building cleanliness are often subpar, despite some buildings having friendly neighbors and decent amenities. Rent increases tied to minimal or purely aesthetic improvements fuel tenant dissatisfaction. Overall, renters advise Brighton Management to improve responsiveness, prioritize basic repairs, respect tenants, and address persistent infrastructure and pest issues to prevent tenant turnover and restore trust.

Reviews

Former tenant·4 minutes ago

Understaffed and poorly managed

Pros

Heating issues have significantly improved as of late (new super, but they often get burned out). Good natural light in unit

Cons

The heating isn't always great and the neighbors (outside of the building) often litter on the terrace. Also it's taken months to get many issues addressed, and many are still left unaddressed (oven not working and did not hear response for over a month), gutter fell on roof, roof leaks not addressed for over 2 weeks. Trash is not taken care of.

Advice to the owners

Be more responsive. Everyone in the building is unhappy and leaves within a year (aside from maybe 1 tenant). It's not good for business

Good location, needs some updating

Pros

Location, 1 bedroom is spacious unless you're in a very specific unit which i live in

Cons

All electric heating and A/C is pretty devastating for coned bills.
