Great apartment and building

Pros:
Love the doormen and staff, unit is spacious, and building is well maintained
Cons:
Tends to be loud due to being on a busy street. No AC. Heat sometimes doesn’t work as intended

Amazing staff and building, but some heat issues

Pros:
Very friendly and helpful staff. Most maintenance requests were immediately attended to. Great location, very few issues with the building.
Cons:
Issues with heat. The heater will only work if a certain temperature is reached in an unknown part of the building, but the apartment itself would often be much colder. Many apartments last winter fell below the legal minimum temperature on some days. This was an issue caused by management, not the heaters themselves.

I wouldn’t live here again if Rudin paid ME. Do not waste your time dealing with this company.
I wrote individual checks/tips at Christmas for all 12 of the staff. The staff never received them and my bank discovered that the super had written all of the checks over to himself and kept the money. I called Mr Rudin, the owner of the building, and he did NOTHING about it.
Advice to owner:
Stop enabling abusive and dishonest employees

Pros:
Great doormen, wonderful neighbors and views! Lots of closets.
Cons:
Horrible to work with this management company. They are corrupt and seedy. Hari used to work for the Dept of Buildings so they pull all the shortcuts. Will blame you for issues in the building like leaks. Horrible paint jobs, they don’t sand they just paint over wires, etc. Storage area is gross and unkept.
