Pros:
Location is great, and being (c) openigloo positioned in the middle of (c) openigloo the block keeps the noise (c) openigloo down. Depending on which side (c) openigloo of the building you're on, (c) openigloo you could get light from (c) openigloo two sides because the lot (c) openigloo next door is a community (c) openigloo garden.
Cons:
Where to begin. The landlord (c) openigloo is bizarre and hard to (c) openigloo contact - it's a company (c) openigloo that owns a bunch of (c) openigloo buildings. The common spaces - (c) openigloo hallways, etc. are always filthy (c) openigloo and smell. Packages get stolen. (c) openigloo The front door is broken (c) openigloo half the time. And you (c) openigloo still have to mail your (c) openigloo checks in - who has (c) openigloo a checkbook anymore?!

The restaurant downstairs is quite (c) openigloo charming, sometimes they have weddings (c) openigloo on the second floor but (c) openigloo it was never too loud. (c) openigloo I also never saw a (c) openigloo pest while living there. I (c) openigloo loved the location and the (c) openigloo space, it also has an (c) openigloo interesting history.
Cons:
The electricity bills were unusually (c) openigloo high. The unit itself was (c) openigloo also difficult to air-condition and (c) openigloo ventilate because of its unusual (c) openigloo layout.
Advice to owner:
I never spoke to the landlord because my roommate handled all of the communications. Thank you landlord, I loved that apartment.

Management, roaches, no heat, 350 (c) openigloo rent raise, management. The leasing (c) openigloo agency and management are co-owners. (c) openigloo They make you put down (c) openigloo the first month rent and (c) openigloo security deposit before giving you (c) openigloo a lease. As soon as (c) openigloo they have your money they (c) openigloo are awful. They wouldn’t let (c) openigloo me move into the apartment (c) openigloo until the 15th and refuse (c) openigloo to acknowledge that the lease (c) openigloo is up on the 15th (c) openigloo not the 31st. There is (c) openigloo no actual recycling. They put (c) openigloo it all in black bags. (c) openigloo My apartment was freezing and (c) openigloo they refused to fix my (c) openigloo heat or subsidize the cost (c) openigloo of the space heating bill. (c) openigloo They are rude and (c) openigloo the WORST I have dealt (c) openigloo with in my 20 years (c) openigloo in NYC

The owner/landlord NEVER answers calls (c) openigloo and emails to help with (c) openigloo any issues including refusing working (c) openigloo with the police to hand (c) openigloo over security footage after 2x (c) openigloo apartments were burglarized. There is (c) openigloo garbage all over the entrance (c) openigloo way - they neglect a (c) openigloo lot of cleaning. It’s a (c) openigloo nice apt but the stress (c) openigloo is not worth it

Landlords are horrible to speak (c) openigloo with, no negotiation on anything, (c) openigloo hallways are fairly grubby and (c) openigloo when the floors are cleaned (c) openigloo it’s a bare minimum in (c) openigloo cleaning with the stench of (c) openigloo disinfectant. Last year the apartment (c) openigloo was barely warm enough, I (c) openigloo think they turned the heat (c) openigloo down in winter as (c) openigloo the building was fairly empty (c) openigloo due to covid. There are (c) openigloo tree plots outside the building (c) openigloo that could enhance the look (c) openigloo of the apartment block from (c) openigloo the outside, but they are (c) openigloo left to grow weeds and (c) openigloo store rubbish, not nice to (c) openigloo look at.
