Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews of buildings managed by Paul Brusco reveal a mixed experience with a notable divide in management quality. Some residents praise the good locations, quiet neighborhoods, and occasional responsive superintendents, enjoying well-kept public areas and pest control in select buildings. However, major concerns include aggressive rent hikes, poor owner responsiveness, pest infestations, security issues like package theft, delayed maintenance, and lack of effective communication. Several tenants express frustration over management's focus on profit over tenant welfare and call for more attentive, timely service and on-site staff. Prospective renters should expect variable management quality depending on the specific building.

Terrible Management - Brusco

Pros

It's a quiet building and in a great location.

Cons

It's all the management right now. Brusco (management) has increased our rent 32% last year and 20% this year. They will truly harass you to paying an absurd price. The price is not accurate of value. The super lives in NJ and doesn't do anything to help. There are mice everywhere - management hasn't done anything about this. Packages are stolen all the time. My neighbors new credit card that came in the mail was stolen and had $1400 in expenses on it. They are actually really mean people. I am avoiding Busco like the plague

Advice to the owners

Be kind and not crazy. Treat others how you want to be treated.
