It's been ok
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, quick responsiveness about issues like a new fridge, heat and hot water have worked, water pressure is good, reasonably priced, laundry and dishwashwers in unit
Cons:
lots of bugs (roaches, gnats, flies, gross crawly looking ones, etc), the building itself is not the cleanest

Loved living here
Former Tenant
Pros:
No noise problems, I never could hear the neighbors. Heat was usually the right temperature. Super was responsive and very helpful.
Cons:
Not a lot of natural light

Not the Best
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good Location in Chelsea
Cons:
Extremely difficult to get a hold of the landlord/property manager. We had a MASSIVE mouse infestation and property owner did not seem to care. The exterminator that was sent after the apartment was already unlivable for 3 days did not fix the problem. Had to hire our own exterminator and professional cleaning services.
Advice to owner:
Care about your tenants.

do not recommend
Former Tenant
Pros:
really great location close to multiple subway lines
Cons:
(1) management is utterly unhelpful - we had a horrible mouse infestation that we had to pay out of pocket for (buy our own supplies to patch holes, hire professional cleaners, sanitize and clean everything at the laundromat). neighbor also told us her lock was broken on move-in day which she had to pay $900 for the locksmith to fix (and was never reimbursed)

(2) pest control is abysmal - they send the monthly exterminator who is nice, but ultimately management fails to do anything. we saw roaches all year and had the mouse infestation mentioned above (mouse sightings were reported beforehand in neighboring units too and management never took care of the issue)

(3) the brokerage for the building (michael fine) is an asshole and will pressure you throughout your entire lease signing process. they are also huge fans of the classic bait and switch "oh this apt wasn't available but we have a very similar unit!" and the similar unit is always worse. trust me, we did it multiple times

(4) occasional package theft

(5) $1000 rent increase after 1 year
Advice to owner:
show some decency for your tenants

Location is nice but idk
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, good price for the neighborhood, responsive management
Cons:
Hot water runs out sometimes, cold in winter but hot in summer, neighbors and helicopters can be loud

Love the apartment, hate the management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Our apartment is newly renovated and nice. The location is amazing and the street is usually pretty quiet.
Cons:
Mouse in the apartment, belligerent drunk man on the 3rd floor, packages stolen often, homeless people in our entryway, landlord NEVER responds and management is super sketchy and non-responsive.
Advice to owner:
You need completely new employees, all of them are non-responsive and rude. Maybe hire employees who treat your tenants like actual human beings.
