Owners are terrible, faceless corporate overlords. Pest + lack of upkeep

- great neighbors - good location
Cons
- they raise the rent the maximum amount they can each year and now they make you deal with their “AI assistant” on lease renewals - even before AI, we never had a phone number or name for the owners, you have to go through an u helpful customer support line for everything - super changes every 1/2 months with mixed results - had pests (roaches, mice) - there was an electrical fire - there was a stalking/attempted break in - just google freestone property group for all the horror stories from other tenants of these slumlords
Advice to the owners
Do better. Be human. Stop exploiting tenants.

Location, also the location is nice.
Cons
Overpriced, under maintained, landlord outsources everything to AI or overseas customer service centers. Building is made out of cardboard. Unbelievably drafty, expect +$1000 con ed bills in summer/winter. Everything is cheaply put together, and landlord makes zero effort to communicate about maintenance issues.
