Pros:
New remodel building — we were the first tenants in the unit. Very close to the J but not too close where you can hear it. Plenty of grocery stores and bodegas nearby. Very large unit with storage
Cons:
1) Renovation job was very shoddily done— simple things like sealing the wood flooring, making sure all the outlets work, sealing gapping between the walls/floors. Unit has been basically falling apart since the day we moved in
2) Big mgmt company bought the building, raised rent at lease resigning exactly 5% + CPI which has made it too expensive to justify staying another year. No other units nearby cost this much, it’s priced way too high
Advice to owner:
If you want to keep tenants, don’t raise rent to Williamsburg prices!
