Liveable
Former Tenant
Pros:
Prime location in South Williamsburg
High ceilings
Minor noise (considering you’re next to the train)
No pest issues
Cons:
The apartment is literally in front of the JMZ train (but back units are quieter)

Well maintained by staff, waste management excellent
Cons:
Management was not responsive. Elevator constantly broke. Raised rent by $1800 after my lease was up. Had to move.

Most Ignorant Building Mgmt
Former Tenant
Pros:
It is newish
Cons:
No heat/insulation, Floods every winter, Mgmt never responds, Mgmt has no idea whats going on in any capacity, Even in emergency (ie: fire) they won’t answer all of fri-sun and then you’d have to email them several times everyday to get a response a week later.
Advice to owner:
Hire at least one competent worker. No one knows what’s ever going on in any capacity, literally. I dealt with it for over 10yrs.

Terrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Sort of new building with elevator, no issues with pests. Garbage area on each floor and they empty it once a week.
Cons:
Management is inflexible, doesn’t respond on weekends and you have to reach out multiple times to get what you need from them. We couldn’t find a new roommate for months because of covid and they were not flexible with rent. Apartment was dirty when we moved in and they never came to clean it. Located near a few bars on busy street with the train nearby so there’s a bit of noise. Water pressure is fine but could be better.
Advice to owner:
Respect your tenets and actually try to help them when they need it. Be more flexible with rent during this economic crisis.
