Review Summary for Tom Sullivan LLC
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant reviews of buildings managed by TOM SULLIVAN LLC emphasize prime Manhattan locations with well-located and reasonably priced units. However, persistent pest problems, especially roaches and occasional rodents, significantly affect tenant satisfaction. Cleanliness and garbage management receive mixed feedback, with some reports of poor conditions and a need for better upkeep. Heating systems and water pressure are generally adequate, but soundproofing issues and occasional noise disturbances are common concerns. Management responsiveness varies, with some tenants noting timely responses while others report delays. Overall, tenants appreciate the location and helpful staff but advise stronger pest control measures and improved property maintenance for a better living experience.

183 Thompson St
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is in a good location, management will respond most of the time, hot water and heat are consistent, trash is always taken out when full, two laundry units downstairs, super is really nice
Cons:
They provide pest control that sprays every month but it's for a reason (roaches sometimes), walls are kind of thin so you can hear neighbors/people talking and walking up and downstairs, street is a loud at night especially on weekends, packages have been stolen from time to time but not consistently

Classic walk up building not that well maintained
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. Washer and dryer on main level.
Cons:
No elevator, gross garbage situation, dirty and old units, electrical outlets completely painted over, super not very responsive, pests seen in building basement and bugs in unit.
Advice to owner:
Take better care of your property.

Paying for Location Only
Former Tenant
Pros:
A great street - great bars, shopping, restaurants, transportation nearby. Laundry room in the building is nice and the building Super is great.
Cons:
We battled a serious roach infestation for over a year and had 7 mice in the span of about 6 months. The building is old and the walls are paper thin.
