looks good, but the honeymoon is over quickly
Former Tenant
Pros:
clean, but cheaply done
Cons:
elevators are a constant problem, even though they were replaced in the last two years
Advice to owner:
allow for escalation of issues, you cannot go any higher than the building manager and she is not very responsive. transparent accounting process would be appreciated. Rent is increased every year and they add "service" fees on top of rent increases but no one knows what the service fees are for. recent updates are cheap, appliances are old and need frequent repairs and the laminate flooring is laid on top of unsealed parquet that warps when wet.

Not as it seems
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convient location to transportation
Cons:
Elevators often broken even after replacement. High staff turn over. Management seem indifferent on retaining renters.
Advice to owner:
Treat your customers better and a little respect

Used to be a nice building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well constructed building and well maintained building.
Cons:
Maintenance requests take forever ever since the management changed from Rose Associates to Greystar. Previously, requests were handled within a few hours. Now most requests take a day or two, more if they don’t have replacement appliances. Drier too 2 weeks to be fixed, air conditioner took a few days to be replaced.

Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to Q Close to Parks and Ferry Packages are secure and well organized Friendly staff Great Views from rooftop Management is friendly
Cons:
Rooftop is rarely open. BBQ grill is no good. Very noisy from 1st ave and traffic entering FDR Neighborhood is boring. Management not always upfront and not very helpful. Elevators are constantly down.
