Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Leszek Dudzinski reveals a mixed experience. While some appreciate good locations, decent-sized units, and friendly neighbors, many express frustration with the landlord's communication style, describing it as unprofessional and manipulative. Noise issues from both within the building and nearby construction are common complaints. Units often require renovations and improvements for better security and upkeep. Garbage management and cleanliness are inconsistent, and heating and pest control standards vary. The kind landlord you want avoid
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location and neighborhood. Although G train is not very convenient.
Cons:
All rooms are terrible with soundproof, noises coming from the same apartment, different floors of the building, and outside constructions. With more than three bedrooms, it can be too crowded; this is not a place for a professional employee who needs rest and personal time. The landlord is the worst. He is greedy and hard to communicate with. He can cause quite a drama and emotional distress if you are not renewing the lease or moving out early. Be prepared.
Advice to owner:
There will be days that you will learn your lesson.

Terrible Landlord - Would Not Rent
Former Tenant
Pros:
The unit itself was fine and is on the first floor. The rooms were all decently sized, and the backyard was nice.
Cons:
The finishings and hardwood were a bit old and outdated, but that was expected of New York. The lighting inside the rooms were a bit dull as well. Water pressure was ok. Definitely needs a bit of a renovation though with paint and the floors. The biggest con is the landlord Lester. I have dealt with a good number of NYC landlords, but he has to be the most unprofessional one out of all of them. He is a terrible communicator and does not seem to care about you at all as a tenant. If you have a choice to live elsewhere, I would do it just so you did not have to deal with him as a landlord.
Advice to owner:
Minor improvements for the building, but please work on being a better landlord. Or just overall communicator.

Fine until it wasn't
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building was quiet, great neighbors,.
Cons:
The units do not seem secure. Unit was partially renovated while being lived in - workers would let themselves into the unit without asking. Lots of construction in building and next door so quite noisy, although street noise was at a minimum. Landlord is also manipulative.
Advice to owner:
Treat others how you'd like to be treated :)
