Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by TRI-HILL MANAGEMENT reveal a consistent pattern of management challenges. Tenants frequently cite unresponsiveness, particularly regarding heating issues, pest infestations including rats and roaches, and package thefts. Heating is often inadequate or costly, with some experiencing prolonged outages. Garbage management and cleanliness vary, with some buildings showing poor upkeep and cluttered common areas. Several reviews note a helpful and responsive superintendent contrasting with the less engaged upper management. Noise levels and neighborhood safety concerns appear in certain locations. Overall, renters caution about maintenance delays and management's lack of accountability, advising stronger property investment and improved tenant communication.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Gorgeous pre-war character, some really great neighbors in the building and on the street. Spacious and lots to do in the neighborhood. Property management co typically resolves issues within 3-5 days. Super is very responsive, but he is useless and can’t fix anything himself.

Cons

There is one man that lives in the building that brings in items from th street almost daily and puts them in the front hallway. He also steals packages. The boiler has gone out on multiple occasions leaving all tenants with no heat or hot water for up to 48hrs. The building is across from a school and traffic is very loud on school days.

Fun when you are 21 and then like living in squalor

Pros

The building is cool, neighbors are nice, neighborhood is great

Cons

Mice, roaches, heating cost hundreds of dollars and sometimes does not work. Was left without water for 5 days once because management didn’t answer . When I left everything was covered in a layer of dirt and mold.

Advice to the owners
