Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant reviews of EASY HOLDINGS GROUP LLC buildings reveal a mixed experience with management. While some appreciate responsive supers and convenient laundry facilities, many criticize the landlord's slow and oftenunprofessional responses to maintenance issues. Frequent complaints include poor communication, security concerns like package theft, inconsistent upkeep of shared amenities, and unresolved pest and infrastructure problems. Noise levels and neighborhood safety are variable, adding to tenant dissatisfaction. Despite decent locations and amenity potential, renters suggest management prioritize building maintenance, enhance security measures, and improve tenant engagement to create a more positive living environment.

Okay okay okay
Former Tenant
Pros:
Our apartment faced the courtyard so it was quiet. It was convenient having laundry in the building when it was working.
Cons:
Packages get stolen. Laundry machines always breaks down. Walk up, no elevator.
Advice to owner:
Maintain the laundry machines by cleaning it. Install a secure package holder.

RUN FOREST RUN!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to trains & busses, loved the location, quaint street, laundry in building, great neighbors, trash chute, responsive super, rooftop access, parking garage, bike room, multiple ways to enter
Cons:
Weak infrastructure (our apartment flooded due to negligent construction, NOT natural disaster, wiring issues, lighting issues, etc.), inconsistent, unresponsive and inconsiderate management who clearly don’t care for their tenants, unprofessional super, not the safest area, laundry machines always broken, stolen packages
Advice to owner:
TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR BUILDING!

Barely decent for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is really responsive, neighbors in building stay pretty quiet despite how loud the neighborhood can be and location is nice for commuting and bars.
Cons:
Vestibule is prone to mail and package theft, the roof has unnecessary rules and limits on it, and repairs can take some time to be addressed.
Advice to owner:
The laundry rooms pale in comparison to the older wash and fold services nearby, the rooftop should definitely be upgraded. Definitely field more feedback from residents before making sweeping changes.

Definitely one of the nicest places I've lived in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, responsive management, super super - the guy is friendly, attentive and very handy.
Cons:
It can get a little noisy since we're next to a few bars. I've heard a few drunk people yelling in the middle of the night, sirens too, but hey... you're in the center of everything.
There is no elevator so the building is not accessible. There are also not enough machines in the laundry rooms. I would add 1 more to each room.
Advice to owner:
I've been extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism and attentiveness of this management company and would definitely live in another of their buildings 10/10
In regards to this building, I would invest in turning one of the 2 stairways into an elevator for folks with disabilities and in general to make moving and bringing up groceries easier. I would also add 1 extra washer and dryer to both of the laundry rooms.

Just Fine, But Not Worth The Price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice finishes, generally pest-free, online payment/request system, convenient location off of Myrtle-Broadway.
Cons:
- Management is terrible and unresponsive. - No contact was provided for superintendent throughout the 2-year lease. - No amenities, w/d in building aren't properly installed, once caused a fire within the building and management has tried to cover it up. - Not fire-safe. 311 complaints of entry/exit stuck and barring any entry or exit of building during the night. - No sunlight in inner units, very energy inefficient-- high utilities for small spaces even with conservative use. - Mail is constantly stolen, no security or proper mail room. - Roof access repeatedly suspended and inhibited, no repairs for common use furniture or proper reinstatement of roof rights. When contacted about roof access, intimidated tenants with lawyers. - Housefly infestation throughout building, a constant issue in the Spring/Summer - Extremely loud neighbors, very little action taken for inconsiderate partying, tenant harassment completely overlooked - Greedy price gouging
Advice to owner:
You will only attract horrible tenants so long as you treat your tenants horribly!

Bad area bad landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
Bushwick used to be cool before the pandemic
Cons:
Bad, unsafe area that’s gotten worse. Constant street noise that never ends. Have to run water for 10 mins before it becomes hot. Landlord never responds to requests. Terrible, terrible service. Disrespectful behavior toward tenants. I was miserable there.

Not worth the price whatsoever
Former Tenant
Pros:
- washer and dryer - tight security - roof deck
Cons:
The apartments are incredibly over priced for the size($2850 for a 2 bedroom box of an apartment) Because there are a multitude of air conditioner grates built into the walls ( can’t put ACs in windows because the windows close vertically ) apartment, even as small as it is, can’t maintain warm temperatures in the winter time. Although the building manager offered pest control every quarter, we still experienced multiple instances of mice.
On a side note - one door needed replacing for one of the rooms (it locked and wouldn’t open) landlord decided it was my responsibility to pay for it, which I was like “sure, whatever I don’t want to go back and forth” - until I got the bill which was 850$ for one handy man, 1 door and a 20 minutes of work.
Advice to owner:
Telling by my experience with the landlord, who’s name is Souzan for anyone dealing with her, any complaints or suggestions will fall on deaf ears.
