Great Porter and Location!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The porter was very responsive. The super didn’t really seem to care a lot but was responsive to an extent.
Cons:
In the summer, i started getting roaches but after pest control sprayed once, they stopped. Not great light. Elevator sometimes wasn’t working and shared laundry room gets dirty sometimes because of shedding animals.
Advice to owner:
Lower rent

It's okay if you don't live in the front first floor units
Former Tenant
Pros:
There's on-site laundry, roof access, minisplit A/C in-unit, easy access to the Q, there's an on-site gym.
Cons:
The gym smells terrible, I don't think it gets sanitized. The dryers take forever to dry, and the washing machines can't handle medium size loads. The management can take a long time to respond to support requests, if you live on the first floor be prepared to hate it. During the summer the residents from neighboring buildings will set up speakers on the street and play loud music until 2a - 3a. Living in the front first floor units is noisy, the front door can slam, if the fire panel is broken it will beep for days.
Advice to owner:
Sanitize the gym and get better washers and dryers.

Clean building, not worth the cost
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very clean, excellent super. Neighbors in the building very friendly, lots of dogs!
Cons:
Be prepared to pay upwards of $500 in the winter to heat your apartment and still be freezing. This was truly one of the worst things about living here- our bedroom was 43 degrees several mornings and with the cost of utilities rising continuously, we were at a loss. Had to have someone come by multiple times to fix a draft and they finally said “it’s just how these windows are” and suggested I turn up the heat.
Walls are also very thin, you can heat everything in the hallway. Have had issues with packages being stolen, people sleeping in the elevator, someone stole our supers bike out of the basement.
Advice to owner:
Replace the doors on the balconies so that they seal and we can heat our apartments without costing us a literal fortune.

Great Place, Awful Heating
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is new, well managed, and clean. I’ve never had issues with mail getting stolen or generally feeling unsafe in the building. The other people living in the building are pretty friendly. The gym is small, but barely used, so it’s nice to get in there when you don’t feel like going to your local gym.
Cons:
Paying for heat this winter has been ridiculously expensive (upwards of $600/mo). This has been a problem for multiple people in the building and has been an issue for more than this year (given increased heating costs). And generally, it feels like the bedrooms don’t retain heat that well, especially if one of the rooms has two external walls. Also, there are 4 washers and dryers and half of them are out of order every now and again.
