Review Summary for David Goldberg
Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by David Goldberg reflects a mix of positive and negative experiences. On the upside, tenants appreciate prompt responsiveness from management, a friendly and safe environment, quiet neighbors, and well-functioning amenities like elevators and water pressure. The building is noted for its location and spacious units with built-in conveniences like dishwashers and AC. However, several renters report ongoing issues with heating, pest control, and garbage management, including rats and cockroach problems near laundry and trash areas. Complaints about maintenance delays, cleanliness, and occasional appliance malfunctions suggest room for improvement in day-to-day upkeep and pest prevention. Overall, management is seen as responsive but needs to address persistent cleanliness and pest challenges.

Great first apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator - slow but reliable.
Nice front entrance - double doors with vestibule.
3 bedroom apartments have 1 bathroom inside the 3rd room - treated as a master suite and a really good nice room.
Thick windows - quiet nights & also relatively quiet avenue.
Friendly building manager.
Cons:
Dishwasher never worked the entire time we lived in the apartment and they didn't really care to fix it.
Laundry is in the building but it's near the garbage in the basement and there are a ton of rats and the machines don't really work.
Messy paint job, there's paint marks all over the floor so it always looks dirty.
Small/tight kitchen space.
