Terrible new management: Rose Associates

Pros:
Great building staff. Very clean lobby.
Cons:
Overheated building requires you to keep windows open all the time in the winter. Very old bones in this building. Only a single elevator, and no stair access to the basement (garbage room and laundry) is awful. Rose Associates is such a pain.
Advice to owner:
Rude, passive aggressive notices you send to the residents. You never answer any questions when we email you, always punting it to the building staff.

Pros:
Best doormen, caring handymen, incredible location
Cons:
Management, rent increases, occasional cockroach, super can be uptight. Really wish I wasn’t pushed out based on price increases - especially because they ended up putting my unit on the market for less than the rent increase they asked for (with no room for negotiation).

New Management is Garbage

Pros:
Old management (Rabina) was attentive and reasonable with rent. Super is pretty nice, 3/4 doormen are awesome
Cons:
New management is a joke. No responses or zero responses. Rent increase of over 9% every year. Even after heavy construction for 2 months, and pest problem.

New management company

Nice Apartment Building, but maybe not worth the money

Pros:
Big units, great location. Doormen are sweet and very responsive. All appliances worked.
Cons:
Basically can’t control the heat at all. No control over how overly or underly warm you are during the winter. Can be loud with people on the weekends.

Some control of the heat per unit

Doormans are all very friendly
Location is great and close to subways!
Cons:
No central air and Amsterdam billiards below can be a little disruptive.

The super is one of the worst people I’ve ever met and is so rude to everyone he encounters over the smallest things.
Advice to owner:
Update lighting, FIRE the super

but the super was rude and the neighbors stuffy. Webster hall was extremely loud across the street.

Have had a few roaches in my apartment
Not always the most responsive to requests for maintenance
Only one elevator

Stop leaving the basement doors open. It lets bugs in
