Going down hill, noise and dirtier than usual
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to the train
Cons:
Noise is an issue, management company doesn’t listen when you tell them about it. They don’t email back but they will be quick to let you know when they need something done because it will cost them money. Building is dirtier than usually neighborhoods is going down.
Advice to owner:

Noise is an issue, nothing is done
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, lots of cameras. Amazon lockers.
Cons:
The noise is an issue. The management nor the landlord enforce the carper/ rug section of the rental lease. It almost seems like they are scared if people here. My upstairs neighbor makes so much noise and slams things around. It’s a constant issue, my dog gets scared and barks.. We are not gonna renew the lease. My husband and I are done with the noise. We want to have a baby and this isn’t ideal. Other neighbors have told me and my husband the same the noise here is unreal and landlord doesn’t do anything about it. Zero accountability.
Advice to owner:
Enforcer your own rental agreements when it comes to noise

Long time tenant. This place used to be great. Not anymore
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near the train. Place is kept decent by custodian.
Cons:
Cons: area has changed. Owners no longer care. They don’t listen to the tenants. Noise control doesn’t exists people make noise at all hours of the night . Place has downhill.
Advice to owner:
What’s the point you all don’t listen and what’s why the building has these issues. People are rude inconsiderate.

Pest control and noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
The guy who cleans keeps the place clean.
Cons:
The pest control here is a problem. I was walking my dog and saw three huge rats run into the garbage. It’s a usual sight around here. Also to be honest the noise is always an issue and I do hear other tenants complain about it as well. I didn’t know it bad until the tenant meeting. I assumed I was the only one with the problem.
Advice to owner:
They don’t be listening that’s the problem

Noise noise noise noise they do nothing!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Your packages are not stolen
Cons:
Noise Noise Noise Noise and nothing is done about it. My wife and I have called Management to ask if they can speak to the people upstairs about the noise and he says there is nothing he can do. I have a 1 year old and the noise keeps her awake at night and she cries at night because she is scared of the banging. My elderly neighbor has also asked that the noise be addressed and nothing has been done. I have spoken with others in the building and they have the same issue with the landlord and superintendent. Quality of life here is
terrible. We pay rent to live in constant noise. New people move in and no consideration for anyone. If you see a vacant apartment keep looking!
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants before you loose good ones

Extremely Noisy Neighbors
Former Tenant
Pros:
Large master bedroom
Cons:
Neighbors upstairs party every weekend. Their dogs bark all day and night. They also rent out one of their bedrooms to someone else not listed in the lease. Rugs are not enforced. Spoke to neighbors upstairs on serval occasions and nothing has been done. Management does not care. It used to be a nice quiet building but not anymore.
Advice to owner:
Vet your tenants more thoroughly.

Terrible and unprofessional landlords
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super who takes care of building is only positive
Cons:
The company that runs this building is terrible. We are never late with rent. Always on time even with pandemic. We called for weeks and finally got an answer. My brother was shot in front of their building and the people who did it threatened to come after us. We asked the company if we can break the lease early and they needed 3 different people to finally tell us no. They threatened to sue us if we broke the lease early. They refused to except the security deposit for the last month. Elevator was supposed to be down for 2 months and it was instead 4 months. This company is trash. Do no rent apartments in any of their buildings. Building is old and falling apart. Stay away !!!
Advice to owner:
The owner of the building should be more involved. I hope he knows his company is running a poor team.

Clean but could use updates
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is well taken care of. It’s mopped everyday. There are cameras throughout the building.
Cons:
The lights in the hallways are dim. The tiles are dated and they should update the hallways.
Advice to owner:
Update hallways.
