Two years in 100 W 27th St
Former Tenant
Pros:
Plenty of space and natural light in the unit, super and owner were responsive to concerns across the board. Convenient location for most everything in Manhattan as well. Great value for the price of rent.
Cons:
Building is older and the floors / walls are not perfectly aligned. Also, the area is quite noisy so can be an issue if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Tons of leaks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice location in Chelsea.
Cons:
Owner was incredibly difficult to reach and the building leaked an incredible amount. Took many many months to fix flooding into my apartment whenever it rained. Landlord yelled at me after I filed with 311 after months of flooding with next to no response.
Advice to owner:
Actually repair things
